By introducing energy-efficient efficient technologies, the range of import-substituting and export-oriented products is expanding. The cement industry is also being modernized. There are 14 cement plants in the country. In 2010-2016, production at these plants grew by 1.25 times and amounted to 9 million tons per year. In the future it is planned to increase this figure to 10 million tons.

The leading enterprise in this area in the country is the joint stock company Kizilkumcement. Almost 3.5 million tons of cement are produced here every year. About 4 million tons of products are produced by Akhangarancement, Kuvasaycement and Bekobadcement. Annually new production capacities are launched. This year, Korakalpoccement LLC in Karakalpakstan and Yaipanshifer began operating in Fergana.



"For many years we have been cooperating with Uzbekistan in cement production," says Lina Durak, Deputy Regional Coordinator of DAL Teknik Makina (Turkey). - Jizzakh cement plant was built and commissioned within the framework of cooperation. Currently, a cement plant is being constructed in Surkhandarya with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons.

The conference heard reports on the modernization of the technological lines of the cement industry in Uzbekistan, the use of energy-saving equipment in the construction of cement plants, and the reduction of carbon monoxide output in the cement production process. Information was presented on the construction of 4 cement plants, the delivery of which is planned for 2018. Issues of introduction of environmentally friendly technologies, organization of joint ventures were discussed.

"The development of new and efficient operation of operating mines plays an important role in ensuring the stability of production," says Valdemar Klassen, manager of Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (Germany). - In Uzbekistan, there is considerable work in this direction. Our company produces modern machinery and equipment for the mining industry.
